Former Ireland international Liam Miller has turned down a contract extension from Perth Glory, ending his two-year stint with the A-League club.
Glory coach Alistair Edwards offered the 32-year-old a new deal for next season, but the midfielder opted not to extend his stay.
"Unfortunately, it's part and parcel of football," Edwards said.

Miller scored two goals from 50 appearances after joining Glory in 2011.
Midfielders Steven McGarry and Matias Cordoba are still in negotiations with Perth, while the Glory are also trying to extend Ryo Nagai's loan deal from Japanese club Cerezo Osaka.
Meanwhile, just days after Brisbane Roar's A-League title defence ended, coach Mike Mulvey began putting into place plans for next season by cutting three players.
Mulvey on Wednesday confirmed contracts would not be offered to Dutch playmaker Stef Nijland, midfielder James Meyer and defender Matt Jurman for next season.
Nijland fell out of favour with Brisbane after failing to make an impact following his A-League arrival in January on loan from PSV Eindhoven.
His career appears in limbo after reports that his Dutch club are also unlikely to renew his contract.
Central defender Jurman was leapfrogged on the Roar pecking order during the season by James Donachie, who formed a solid combination with Socceroo Jade North.
Meyer was last sighted in the Roar's doomed Asian Champions League qualifier against Buriram United in Thailand in February.
"From my point of view, I'd like to thank all three for their commitment and professionalism during my time at the club," Mulvey said.
"Each has contributed to the club in their own way, but at this point in time they did not fit into our plans as we move forward."
The Roar's dream of a hat-trick of A-League championships ended when they lost last weekend's semi-final against newcomers Western Sydney Wanderers.
